The Romano Group is staffed by Jeanne Romano and Tony Schofield, both of whom are high technology veterans with a complimentary focus and skills.

Jeanne has over 15 years of experience in high technology recruiting. She built the recruiting infrastructure from scratch in three startups and streamlined processes in more established companies. When going into a company she establishes a rigorous screening and interviewing practices which results in fewer unqualified candidates and a corresponding higher “close” rate for each position. She specializes in identifying, attracting and hiring in leading edge software technologies for discerning companies. Areas of professional interest and focus include system level software, IT and consulting engineers, and marketing specialists in emerging Web technologies.As a technical contributor prior to recruiting, Jeanne has been a programmer and systems analyst on a variety of computer systems. She designed and managed the implementation of a client and applicant matching and tracking system for a 120 office high technology employment agency.She has a BA in psychology from NorthWestern University and a MA in Stress Management from San Jose (California) State University.
Tony has over 30 years in the software industry with roles spanning compiler development, management of field software support personnel, software development teams, strategic marketing and business development with such companies as Netscape, AOL, Microsoft and Digital Equipment Corporation.
